A dull grey morning with light winds and low bird activity. The total is greatly inflated by a wonderful large flock of lapwing going over. The highlights were a very red lesser redpoll feeding near Gordon’s Mere and a Marsh Harrier disturbing the teal on Rothschilds' Mere.
Woodwalton Fen has a number of trails through it, as well as bird hides in the middle of the reserve, and one to the north, all good for watching wildilife
