A lovely morning for the first survey of the winter with an interesting mix of birds recorded. The highlights were a female wheatear and a Hobby, a late staying whitethroat was an interesting record. The count was boosted by flocks of mallard and Canada goose over. Mammals recorded were nine Chinese water deer and a solitary roe deer.
